Westward Consulting

Westward Consulting website        Westward Consulting mobile website

Westward Consulting works with U.S. colleges and universities to plan for safe international travel by faculty, staff, and students. On their mobile site I use a menu icon at the top of every page. This allows for more pages on the site. While it adds an extra 'click' in our navigation, it works for site owners who want more content on their mobile site. Westward Consulting was founded by my daughter Andrea Wagner. I'm very proud of her adventure into the world of entrepreneurship!

Wind Mill Slatwall Products from Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin is manufacturer of a wide variety of stock and custom slatwall panels and fixtures. Garage Escape is the retail division of Wind Mill.

Wind Mill could see the need for a mobile specific website for their customers and distributors. Happy with the outcome of the Wind Mill site, they hired me to create the Garage Escape mobile site as well.

Classic Pumps

Classic Pumps - beautiful, feminine high-heeled leather pumps in classic styles.

We wanted to showcase the variety of shoe styles on the small mobile screen so we used a very nice slideshow/slider program. Users are able to horizontally scroll through the shoes with the arrow keys or press the play arrow to start the auto slideshow.

Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth, WI

The Plymouth Chamber mobile site will give smart phone users quick access to lodging, shopping, and eating in the Plymouth area. Our initial focus was on the Mural & Arts Festival, June 28-30. We will update the site with other important Plymouth events throughout the year.

Our home page is dedicated to the festival and a coupon for the Chamber tent can be found at the top of every page. Visitors will bring the coupon on their smart phone to the Chamber tent to receive $1.00 off any item sold at the tent. This will help us track mobile site usage as well as attract users to the Chamber tent.

The Chamber wants to attract visitors from far and wide to make the Festival a huge success and expose them to the many treasures of the Plymouth area.

The mobile site's Eat, Sleep, and Shop pages are database driven so they can be easily updated with members' listings, including 'fat-finger-friendly' phone, email, and website buttons.

Mobile users can also quickly and easily phone or email the Chamber office, find the Chamber on Facebook and YouTube, and navigate to the full Chamber website.

The purpose of a mobile site is to display the most important information for users. A mobile site should not try to squeeze the full website into the constraints of a smart phone. The Chamber mobile site is a great resource for users searching for places to eat, sleep, and shop in the Plymouth area. Check it out today!
